Allie was fascinated by McCain's umbilical cord!
McCain Thomas is here! He was born on April 10th and weighed 7 pounds. He has strawberry blonde hair. We are really enjoying him and Allie just loves her little "Mic Mic."
I truly feel blessed for such a wonderful family. Tommy, I love you because of your patience, loving nature, sense of humor and unconditional love. You are the most perfect daddy and husband. I am so glad that McCain has such a wonderful role model so that he can grow up and know first hand how to be a perfect husband and daddy one day. I also hope for Allie that she can find someone like her daddy to marry and start her own family with. Only the best for our babies!
Allie, I love you for your sassy personality, your affection towards others and the way that you tell us "yuv you."
McCain, I love you for your sweet disposition and the way you move your mouth around like a little bird when you are hungry.
Thanks to the three of you for making me feel so loved. I love being your mommy and wife.

Katherine, I'm not sure you even remember me (Lesley's friend) but I wanted to comment to this post. I was so touched by your sweet words to your family. So often time we take for granted the love of our own family and I know that having a baby puts that into perspective as I just had a little girl 3 months ago. Kudos to you! Congratulations! I am so happy for you and your family! Life is about to change! lol! My mom has always said that you are a mom with 1 child, but you become a true parent when you have another one (because of all the fighting)! lol! McCain looks precious, I can't wait to meet him.
